Handbook of Establishing and Maintaining Oxygen‐Free Atmospheres
This study presents a practical framework for creating oxygen‐free atmospheres at ambient pressure using silane‐doped inert gases. The results show that ultra‐low oxygen levels and strongly reduced water content can be achieved through controlled silane dosing, drying systems, and sensor monitoring.

Trace additions of Sn and Sr combined with a two‐step aging treatment are shown to enhance the microstructure and performance of Al–Zr–Sc conductor alloys. Strength and electrical conductivity increase concurrently through accelerated precipitation of fine Al3(Sc, Zr) precipitates and improved dislocation resistance, offering a cost‐effective pathway ...

Thermomechanical fatigue tests of laser beam powder bed fusion (PBF‐LB) Inconel 718 show that the additively manufactured material reaches almost the lifetimes of conventionally‐rolled material under no‐dwell conditions. Introducing dwell times at the maximum temperature markedly reduces the lifetimes due to pronounced grain boundary sliding associated

Involutes of Polygons of Constant Width in Minkowski Planes
Consider a convex polygon P in the plane, and denote by U a homothetical copy of the vector sum of P and (-P). Then the polygon U, as unit ball, induces a norm such that, with respect to this norm, P has constant Minkowskian width. We define notions like

Nickel‐based alloys are widely used in high‐temperature applications due to their excellent mechanical strength and oxidation resistance. However, properties such as high‐temperature strength and pronounced work‐hardening make them difficult to machine.

Compliance and stress sensitivity of spur gear teeth [PDF]
The magnitude and variation of tooth pair compliance with load position affects the dynamics and loading significantly, and the tooth root stressing per load varies significantly with load position.

Dilations on Involution Semigroups [PDF]
We present an equivalent form of the boundedness condition involved in the Sz.-Nagy general dilation theorem and, as a consequence, we prove a dilation theorem for a product of commuting dilatable operator functions on involution semigroups. Also we show that the Bram-Halmos criterion of subnormality can be directly deduced from the proposed ...

The presented study focuses on the fracture behaviour of carbon‐bonded magnesia MgO–C refractories, where environmentally friendly fructose, collagen and lignin serve as temporary binding agents. The partial substitution of the source material with recycled MgO–C reduces the fracture resistance, which can be counteracted by the additional introduction ...

Dynamic Contact Analysis of Torus-involute Gear
Taking the torus-involute gear as study object, according to the theory of gear meshing and the gear hobbing process, the tooth surface equations of torus-involute gears with convex and concave teeth are derived by using the tooth surface equation of ...
