Thermally Drawn Polymeric Catheters for MR-Guided Cardiovascular Intervention. [PDF]

This research presents an adapted thermal drawing platform for cost‐effective and rapid prototyping of catheters for MR‐guided endovascular interventions. The benefits of the proposed platform are demonstrated in the development of advanced catheter systems, exhibiting excellent mechanical properties and MR visibility.

AbstractThis paper describes helical-bevel gearing (HBG). The helical-bevel gearing commonly includes a cylindrical and a bevel gear. The tooth profiles can be either spur or helical. The involute HBG provides an opportunity to design a broad variety of gear trains, unobtainable by the use of conventional types of gears.

Design and analysis of extensible differential‐speed helical drive pipe dredging robot

The running state of the robot is simulated through virtual prototype technology. The results show that the robot has reasonable structure, comprehensive functions of cutting, stirring and transporting silt, so that the robot is basically in the ‘slurry flow’ condition in the sewer pipe.
