On certain identities of generalized derivations of semirings with involution
MA-semirings form a proper subclass of inverse semirings that properly contains both the class of rings and the class of distributive lattices with the least element.

The human gut microbiome across the life course
Despite significant individual variation and continuous change throughout life, the human gut microbiome follows some life stage‐specific trends. This article provides a brief overview of how gut microbiome composition shifts across different phases of life. Created in BioRender. Özkurt, E. (2026) https://BioRender.com/8q4nrnc.

Involutive Quantales and Quantale-Enriched Involutive Topological Spaces
Abstract In this paper, we provide a comprehensive analysis of involutive quantales, with a particular focus on quantic frames. We extend the axiomatic foundations of quantale-enriched topological spaces to include closure under the anti-homomorphic involution, facilitating a balanced topologization of the ...

This study reveals that the small GTPase Rab14 is necessary for human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and plays an essential role in the transport of virions to the trans‐Golgi network (TGN). HPV in the early endosome (EE), which harbors GTP‐bound Rab14, is transported to the TGN through the switch of Rab14 from its GTP‐bound to GDP‐bound form.

Structure of Rings with Involution Applied to Generalized Polynomial Identities
In [14, §4], some theorems were obtained about generalized polynomial identities in rings with involution, but the statements had to be weakened somewhat because a structure theory of rings with involution had not yet been developed sufficiently to ...

Modulation of Homer1 EVH1 domain internal dynamics by putative autism‐associated mutations
The putative autism‐associated M65I and S97L variants of the EVH1 domain of the postsynaptic scaffold protein Homer1 do not exhibit substantial changes in their overall structure or partner binding. Both of them, but especially the M65I variant, show altered internal dynamics relative to the wild‐type domain on the μs‐ms timescale, indicated by the ...

Surgical stress delays prostate involution in mice.
Androgens control growth of prostate epithelial cells and androgen deprivation induces apoptosis, leading to prostate involution. We investigated the effects of surgical stress on prostate involution induced by androgen ablation and determined the ...

The ubiquitin‐proteasome system and autophagy as guardians of the cellular proteome
This Perspective covers the three principles governing the crosstalk between the ubiquitin‐proteasome system and autophagy in cellular proteostasis: (1) a shared ubiquitin code routing substrates via shuttle factors or autophagy receptors; (2) spatial compartmentalization into phase‐separated degradation hubs and organelle‐specific modules (exemplified

On some inverse problems for a degenerate parabolic equation with involution
In this paper, the solvability of some initial-boundary value problems is considered for a nonlocal analogue of the degenerate parabolic equation. The inverse problems are studied for the case where it is necessary to find not only a solution to the ...
