Development of radiolabelled albumin microspheres: a comparison of gamma-emitting radioisotopes of iodine (131I) and indium (111In/113mIn)

International Journal of Radiation Applications and Instrumentation. Part B. Nuclear Medicine and Biology, 1991
Biodegradable albumin microspheres have been prepared incorporating either 131I or 111In/111In. Using cDTPAA/albumin molar ratios of 1, 3 and 10, approx. 0.7, 2.1 and 7 molecules of DTPA could be coupled to an albumin molecule, labelling efficiency being constant over this range.

[Management in cases of accidental contamination by iodine radioisotopes].

Presse medicale (Paris, France : 1983), 1988
Iodide can reduce radioactive iodine thyroid uptake and whole-body irradiation. Maximal effectiveness is obtained when 3 conditions are fulfilled: adequate dosage: potassium iodide 130 mg (i.e. iodide 100 mg) as tablets in adults and older children, 50 mg in infants under one year of age; prompt administration after contamination and daily treatment as

[Isolation and properties of chymotrypsin and trypsin labeled with iodine radioisotopes].

Voprosy meditsinskoi khimii, 1986
Comparative study of iodination of chymotrypsin and trypsin was carried out using either iodine monochloride or the electrochemical procedure under conditions of controlled anode potential. It was shown that a part of iodine monochloride was consumed for oxidation of protein molecules.
