Noninnocent Deep Eutectic Solvents Enable Selective, Sustainable Nickel‐Catalyzed Cross‐Electrophile Couplings to Diarylmethanes

Ni‐catalyzed cross‐electrophile coupling (XEC) of aryl iodides with benzyl chlorides proceeds efficiently in the deep eutectic solvent (DES) choline chloride/urea, replacing hazardous amide solvents. Under mild, aerobic, heterogeneous conditions, diarylmethanes form in up to 95% yield.

Iodação do sal e ingestão excessiva de iodo em crianças

O presente trabalho tem como objetivo avaliar a excreção urinária de iodo e relacionar com a sua quantidade presente no sal de consumo humano. Participaram do estudo 145 crianças de duas escolas: uma de zona rural e outra de urbana.

Transition Metal‐Free Heteroarene Insertion Into C─C Bonds of Benzocyclobutenones

A transition metal‐free insertion of five‐membered heteroarenes into the C─C bonds of benzocyclobutenones has been achieved under mild and operationally simple conditions. This method provides an efficient and modular approach to access fused partially saturated hetero‐polycyclic scaffolds that exist in many bioactive molecules.
