Superficial Ion-exchange Chromatography

Nature, 1965
RECENTLY the techniques of gas chromatography have been applied to chromatography in the liquid phase to separate small quantities of mixtures very rapidly. Techniques have been described for adsorption chromatography1, partition chromatography2, and ion-exchange chromatography3 where the inner surface of a capillary tube was coated with a liquid ion ...

Modeling of Ion-Exchange Chromatography

2015
Ion-exchange chromatography (IEC) is one of the most popular LC separation methods. It has a higher loading capacity compared with RP-LC. Although RP-LC typically has high resolution, IEC is more compatible with proteins because the strong solvents in RP-LC can denature proteins, which is undesirable for preparative- and large-scale LC.

Ion-exchange membrane chromatography

Chromatography is a powerful separation technique that has become an important unit operation when high levels of purity are required. The selectivity of the separation process depends on the interactions between the stationary phase and the mobile phase components.
