A Brain‐Penetrant Nanobody Reveals GSK3β‐Driven Proline‐Directed Phosphorylation as a Master Regulator of Ischemic Neurodegeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A brain‐targeted nanoparticle enables delivery of a therapeutic nanobody (Nb.29E9) that inhibits pathogenic GSK3β signaling. This intervention restores AMPK/mTORC1/TGFβ homeostasis, attenuates neuroinflammation and oxidative stress, and promotes long‐term functional recovery after ischemic stroke.

Gold Loading on Ion Exchange Resins in Non-Ammoniacal Resin-Solution Systems

open access: yesJurnal Rekayasa Kimia & Lingkungan, 2010
The loading of gold using strong base anion exchange resin in non-ammoniac resin-solution (NARS) systems has been studied. The loading of gold onto ion exchange resins is affected by polythionate concentration, and trithionate can be used as the baseline

Multi‐Targeting Carnosic Acid Kills Drug‐Resistant Helicobacter pylori With Narrow‐Spectrum Activity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Carnosic acid selectively eradicates drug‐resistant Helicobacter pylori through a multi‐targeted mechanism involving urease inhibition, membrane disruption, and biofilm eradication. It exhibits no detectable resistance, potent in vivo efficacy, and minimal impact on gut microbiota, positioning it as a promising narrow‐spectrum lead compound against ...

Furfuryl Alcohol‐Driven Proton Supply Enables Efficient Photocatalytic H2O2 Production Beyond Water‐Based Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A ZnIn2S4–carbon dot heterojunction enables photocatalytic H2O2 production coupled with furfuryl alcohol oxidation. In this redox system, furfuryl alcohol acts as both the electron donor and oxidation substrate, producing furoic acid with 100% selectivity and 98% conversion while supporting efficient H2O2 generation with a solar‐to‐chemical conversion (

Ion-exchange kinetics: Heterogeneous resin-phase model

open access: yes, 1996
A new approach to cation-exchange kinetics views ion-exchange resin as an aggregate of uniform cylindrical pores. ion exchange occurs at the pore surface.

Ion exchange equilibrium for some uni-univalent and uni-divalent reaction systems using strongly basic anion exchange resin Duolite A-102 D

open access: yesBulletin of the Chemical Society of Ethiopia, 2008
The study on thermodynamics of ion exchange equilibrium for uni-univalent Cl-/I-, Cl-/Br-, and uni-divalent Cl-/SO42-, Cl-/C2O42- reaction systems was carried out using ion exchange resin Duolite A-102 D.
