Thermodynamics of ion exchange equilibrium for some uni-univalent and divalent reaction systems using strongly basic anion exchange resin Indion FF-IP

open access: yesBulletin of the Chemical Society of Ethiopia, 2008
The study on thermodynamics of ion exchange equilibrium for uni-univalent Cl-/I-, Cl-/Br-, and uni-divalent Cl-/SO42-, Cl-/C2O42- reaction systems was carried out using ion exchange resin Indion FF-IP.

Two‐Photon 3D Printing of Functional Microstructures Inside Living Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates 3D printing inside living cells by using two‐photon photo‐lithography. A bio‐compatible photoresist is injected into cells and selectively polymerized with a femtosecond laser, creating custom‐shaped intracellular structures with submicron resolution.

Preparation of Deuterated Cation Exchange Resin by Ion Exchange

open access: yesHe huaxue yu fangshe huaxue
During the operation of the spallation neutron source, heavy water used as a coolant can introduce impurities. Direct purification of heavy water using conventional ion exchange resins can lead to the displacement of H+/OH−, thereby reducing the purity ...

ANALISA KADAR Fe AIR SUMUR DIPLOMA TEKNIK KIMIA UNDIP DENGAN DEMINERALIZER WATER MENGGUNAKAN METODE PERMANGANOMETRI (ANALYSIS Fe CONTENT OF WATER WELL BY DIPLOMA CHEMICAL ENGINEERING OF UNIVERSITY DIPONEGORO WITH DEMINERALIZER WATER USING PERMANGANOMETRIC METHOD) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Water demineralisation is a process for the removal of mineral salts present in water, so the water produced has a high purity. Basically the process is like what is done in water softening through ion exchange process.

Azolium-based systems: application of an anion exchange resin (A- form) method and 1H NMR analysis of the charged-assisted (C
H)+·anion hydrogen bonds
[PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
The counteranion exchange of quaternary 1,2,3-triazolium salts was examined using a simple method that permitted halide ions to be swap for a variety of anions using an anion exchange resin (A¯ form).

Hierarchically Engineered Multi‐Enzyme Nanoreactors for in vitro Drug Biosynthesis and Pathway Transplantation Into Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A hierarchically structured metal–organic framework (eMIL) is shown to host the complete six‐enzyme biosynthesis pathway for the anti‐cancer pigment violacein, reshaping reaction dynamics and multiplying in vitro yields. eMIL nanoreactors deliver this reconstituted bacterial multi‐protein system into mammalian cells, where cell‐derived substrates and ...

Elephant‐Skin‐Inspired Porous Cementitious Tiles with Programmable Crack Networks for Passive Cooling

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Elephant‐skin‐inspired crack networks are programmed in porous diatomaceous earth (DE)‐cement composites using substrate‐guided, stress‐concentration induced fracture. The resulting crack lattices act as capillary conduits that redistribute water, while the porous matrix stores moisture.
