Tetrastigma Hemsleyanum Polysaccharide Suppresses Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer by Disrupting the Hippo‐YAP/TEAD4‐PDIA4 Axis and Endoplasmic Reticulum Stress Adaptation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Triple‐negative breast cancer (TNBC) exhibits addiction to chronic endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress, which sustains an aggressive metastatic phenotype through activation of the unfolded protein response (UPR). Here, we identify a previously unrecognized “ER‐stress addiction” axis in which the Hippo pathway effector TEAD4 directly ...

Elution strategies for recovery of nickel and cobalt from laterite tails through scavenging resin-in-pulp

open access: yes, 2012
Ion exchange resin has been used to recover value metal in the uranium and gold industry through resin-in-pulp/leach and similar carbon-in-leach/pulp processes for decades.

2,4- Dihydroxypropiophenoneoxime- Formaldehyde Resins & Their Ion-Exchange Properties [PDF]

open access: yes, 1989
226-229Chelating ion-exchange resins (2,4-DPPO-F) have been synthesized by the condensation of 2,4-dihydroxypro-piophenoneoxime (2,4-DPPO) and formaldehyde (F) in the presence of oxalic acid as catalyst with varying molar ratios of the reacting monomers.

Cationic ion exchange resins as catalyst

open access: yes, 1993
This paper presents a review of the literature pertaining to catalysis by cation exchange resins. Emphasis has been given to the literature that has appeared during the last seven years.

Ion Exchange Properties of Resins Derived from p-Hydroxybenzaldehyde, Resorcinol and Formaldehyde

open access: yesE-Journal of Chemistry, 2010
The terpolymeric resins were prepared by base catalyzed polycondensation of p-hydroxybenzaldehyde, resorcinol and formaldehyde. Resin obtained by molar monomer composition, p-hydroxybenzaldehyde: resorcinol: formaldehyde as 1:1:3 was abbreviated as PHBRF-

Quantitative Mass Spectrometry‐Based Biodistribution of Monoclonal Antibodies: An Alternative to Radio‐Biodistribution

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Monoclonal antibodies are powerful anticancer therapeutics targeting tumor‐associated antigens. Mass spectrometry enables precise and accurate quantification of mAbs in tumor plasma and healthy organs. Unlike ligand binding assay and radioactivity, mass spectrometry does not suffer from matrix effects and labelling artefacts while facilitating method ...

The development of a resin-in-pulp process for the recovery of nickel and cobalt from laterite leach slurries

open access: yes, 2005
The processing of laterite ores for the recovery of nickel and cobalt has increased as the reserves of exploitable sulphide ores have become depleted.

Study of the butyl acetate synthesis - 1. Catalyst selection

open access: yesIngeniería e Investigación, 2004
In this work, a laboratory scale selection study over eight catalytic agents was made, in the acetic acid and butyl alcohol esterification reaction (seven lon exchange resins and a zeolytic solid).

Redox‐Dependent Chaperoning of GBF1 Condensates Regulates Seed Germination in Arabidopsis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In dormant seeds (low ROS), GBF1 forms liquid condensates to repress the germination gene CathB3, and the chaperone GIP1 maintains condensate liquidity and repressive activity. Upon imbibition (high ROS), ROS oxidize GIP1 during germination, impairing its chaperone function.
