Advances in Halide Perovskites for Photon Radiation Detectors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This work highlights recent progress in perovskite‐based photon radiation detectors, covering organic–inorganic hybrid, inorganic, lead‐free double, and vacancy‐ordered halide perovskites. Their detection performance is compared, material‐specific advantages and challenges are examined, and provides insight into current limitations and future ...

Preventing WebRTC IP Address Leaks

open access: yes
The WebRTC API enables real-time communication of text, video, and audio media streams through a web browser without requiring third-party extensions. However, it was not designed with privacy in mind. We conduct an experiment to analyse privacy leaks associated with WebRTC on Linux, macOS and Windows.

A Reproducible and Scalable Process for High Yield Mesenchymal Stromal Cell Extracellular Vesicles Production

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Mesenchymal stem cell derived extracellular vesicles (MSC‐EVs) are a promising therapeutic tool for regenerative medicine. However, the field lacks a reproducible high‐yield production method to answer the quantities needed for clinical translation.

Linking Device Performance to Nanoscale Photoactivation of Grain Boundaries in 2D Hybrid Halide Perovskites

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
The opto‐electronic response of polycrystalline (PEA)2PbBr4 thin films is investigated by correlating macroscopic photodetector performance with nanoscale mapping techniques. Grain boundary density is systematically tuned through crystallization control and linked to device responsivity.

Linking a Social Identity to an IP Address.

open access: yesERCIM News, 2012
Linking a social identity such as a name to an IP address is generally believed to be difficult for anindividual with no dedicated infrastructure or privileged information. Although an individual’s ISP hasaccess to this information, it is kept private except in the case of a legal decision.

Bidirectional Process Prediction in the Laser‐Induced‐Graphene Production Using Blackbox Deep Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This study shows that a lightweight blackbox neural network provides a practical, cost‐effective solution for bidirectional process prediction in laser‐induced graphene (LIG) fabrication. Achieving high predictive performance with minimal overhead, the approach democratizes machine learning (ML) for resource‐limited environments.

A Functional and Performance-Oriented Comparison of Transition Mechanisms for Internet Transition from IPv4 to IPv6 Protocol [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
A computer network that would cover the entire planet and connect billions of devices was beyond imagination when the Internet was first conceived. Consequently, over the last 20 years, the Internet has become a crowded place.
