Multi‐Responsive PAA/PNIPAM Semi‐IPN Hydrogel Properties Controlled by PAA Topology

Polymer topology governs hydrogel behavior in semi‐interpenetrating networks. Cyclic poly(acrylic acid) enables controlled pH‐responsive swelling, improved stability, and enhanced deformability compared to linear analogues, while linear systems show higher strength during thermal de‐swelling.

The application of pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSAs) in transdermal drug delivery systems (TDDSs) is limited. Insufficient cohesion in TDDS can lead to cold flow, patch displacement, dose inaccuracies, and the ‘dark ring’ phenomenon.
