BEHAVIOUR OF IR REFLECTIVE DYES AND PIGMENTS ON DIFFERENT FATLIQUORED UPHOLSTERY LEATHERS [PDF]

open access: yesAnnals of the University of Oradea: Fascicle of Textiles, Leatherwork, 2021
IR Reflective dyes and pigments are designed to make absorption in the visible region of the electromagnetic spectrum like the standard dyes but to reflect the Infra-Red region of the spectrum as a difference; which enables the items dyed with them to ...

Robust Electrocaloric Performance Enabled by Highly‐Polar Frustrated Nanodomains in NaNbO3‐Based Ferrodistortive Relaxor

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
P4bm framework in NaNbO3‐Ba(Ti, Hf)O3 ferrodistortive relaxor entails short‐range and highly‐polar ferrodistortive orders. The abundant highly‐polar orders facilitate to increase entropy change, and robust octahedral oxygen tilt enables to impede thermal perturbations.

A novel and stable ultraviolet and infrared intensity sensor in impedance/capacitance modes fabricated from degraded CH3NH3PbI3-xClx perovskite materials

open access: yesJournal of Materials Research and Technology, 2020
The present situation of COVID-19 diverted our focus towards utilizing the degraded solar cells for sensor application, this will help in global energy harvesting. So, here is our successful effort to reuse already degraded solar cells as ultraviolet (UV)

Irradiation‐Induced Spin Bath Evolution and as‐Grown Hydrogen Defects in CVD Diamond Revealed by NV‐Based DEER Spectroscopy

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Here, we provide the reader with the current state of the art in the fabrication of high‐T2‐coherence diamond, optimized through the use of double electron–electron resonance (DEER) spectroscopy. We reveal the main as well as yet unidentified spin defects, the reduction of which is essential for reducing the spin bath and fabricating materials for ...

Three‐Dimensional Anomalous Hall Sensing Enabled By Spin–Orbit Torque Driven Domain Reconfiguration In Chiral Multilayers

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A three‐dimensional magnetic field sensor is realized in chiral W/CoFeB/MgO multilayers, where spin–orbit torques reversibly reconfigure homochiral stripe domains. The symmetry of the torque enables offset‐free in‐plane sensing, while the reproducible domain reconfiguration extends the linear out‐of‐plane range. An anomalous Hall readout delivers large‐

Intrinsic Photoactive Star ZnPc–Poly(glutamate) Nanoplatforms for Multimodal Glioblastoma Therapy and Brain‐Targeted Delivery

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An intrinsic photoactive star‐shaped zinc phtalocyanine‐poly(L‐glutamic acid) (ZnPc‐PGA) nanoplatform for multimodal glioblastoma (GBM) therapy and brain‐targeted elivery. A ZnPc‐PGA‐based multifunctional theranostic nanocarrier platform enables image‐guided, multimodal GBM therapy. ZnPc‐PGA nanocarriers support the integration of fluorescence imaging,

X‐Functionality–Driven Photocatalytic Hydrogen Evolution in 2D 4‐X‐PEA2SnI4 Perovskites

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We report a water‐based synthesis of 2D 4‐X‐PEA2SnI4 perovskite microcrystals with prominent photocatalytic (PC) activity for H2 production. The synergy between organic functionalization and HI‐derived iodide scavenges holes suppress octahedral distortion, and favor electron accumulation, enabling a PC H2 evolution ∼20 µmol·g−1 and long‐term stability ...
