Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

The fourth spectrum of iridium (Ir IV) [PDF]

open access: yesAtomic Data and Nuclear Data Tables, 2016
Abstract The spectrum of three times ionized iridium, Ir IV, was investigated in the 650–2045 A wavelength region. The analysis has led to the determination of the 5 d 6 , 5 d 5 6 s and 5 d 5 6 p configurations.

Do scale-invariant fluctuations imply the breaking of de Sitter invariance?

open access: yes, 2012
The quantization of the massless minimally coupled (mmc) scalar field in de Sitter spacetime is known to be a non-trivial problem due to the appearance of strong infrared (IR) effects.

RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.

Using mid infrared to perform investigations beyond the diffraction limits of microcristalline pathologies: advantages and limitation of Optical PhotoThermal IR spectroscopy

open access: yesComptes Rendus. Chimie, 2022
Understanding the physico-chemistry related to cristalline pathologies constitutes a challenge in several medical specialities such as nephrology, dermatology or oncology.

Pioglitazone plus (−)‐epigallocatechin gallate: a novel approach to enhance osteogenic performance in aged bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Aged human bmMSCs are seeded in the scaffold. Osteoblastic induction can slightly increase cell's bone‐forming activity to produce bone‐like tissues, shown as the sporadic xylenol orange‐stained spots (the lower left image). Notably, pioglitazone plus EGCG co‐treatment dramatically increases cell's bone‐forming activity and bone‐like tissue production (

Synthesis, crystal structure and properties of poly[(μ-2-methylpyridine N-oxide-κ2O:O)bis(μ-thiocyanato-κ2N:S)cobalt(II)]

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E: Crystallographic Communications
The title compound, [Co(NCS)2(C6H7NO)]n or Co(NCS)2(2-methylpyridine N-oxide), was prepared by the reaction of Co(NCS)2 and 2-methylpyridine N-oxide in methanol. All crystals obtained by this procedure show reticular pseudo-merohedric twinning, but after

Cosmological parameters in the noncommutative inflation

open access: yes, 2004
We investigate how the uncertainty of noncommutative spacetime could explain the WMAP data. For this purpose, the spectrum is divided into the IR and UV region.

Polarization‐resolved femtosecond Vis/IR spectroscopy tailored for resolving weak signals in biological samples using minimal sample volume

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐
