Time and Free Trade Agreements: Implications for the AfCFTA
Journal of International Development, EarlyView.ABSTRACT This study examines how free trade agreements (FTAs) can boost economic growth by increasing trade, with clear implications for the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA). Our main finding is that in general, the effects of FTAs are delayed by at least 3 years on average for intra‐African trade.

Journal of Medical Radiation Sciences, EarlyView.A cross‐sectional survey of 1274 adults residing in Iraq found a median radiation‐related knowledge score of 5/10 and a median attitude score of 17/25. Only 18% correctly identified that MRI does not use ionizing radiation, while 36% recognized that a spiral CT scan may involve radiation equivalent to 100–800 conventional X‐rays.

Inhibitory effect of IRAK-M siRNA on α-MSH-suppressed HK IL-8 expression.
, 2015 HK cells were transiently transfected with IRAK-M siRNA or control siRNA prior to LTA treatment. The mRNA expression of IRAK-M (a) and IL-8 (b) was determined by real-time RT-PCR 3 hours after LTA treatment in the presence or absence of α-MSH.
