Superparamagnetic Iron Oxide Nanoparticles

open access: yesTopics in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, 2004
Superparamagnetic iron oxide (SPIO) nanoparticles are unique MR contrast agents and are of great interest for their multiple potentials. SPIO nanoparticles have a higher diagnostic accuracy for detecting metastatic lymph nodes than conventional MR studies, particularly in head and neck.

Engineered Nanoplatforms Targeting Activated Hepatic Stellate Cells for Liver Fibrosis Therapy via TGF‐β Axis Inhibition and Ferroptosis Induction

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
FeS‐VA@lanifibranor (FVL), an activated hepatic stellate cell (aHSC)‐targeted nanoplatform comprising vitamin A‐functionalized two‐dimensional iron sulfide nanosheets and lanifibranor, is engineered for precision therapy of liver fibrosis. FVL suppresses the TGF‐β signaling pathway by inhibiting SMAD2/3 phosphorylation and induces ferroptosis in aHSCs,

Phase Engineering of Atomically Precise Nanoclusters (APNCs) of Gold and Beyond

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Engineering the structural phase of materials is of paramount importance for both fundamental research and practical applications. In this Review, we summarize the recent progress in controlling the phases of atomically precise nanoclusters (APNCs) of gold, silver and copper, as well as bimetallic systems. The phase‐enabled material properties of APNCs

Magnetic DNA Origami Nanorotors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Magnetic actuation is a powerful and broadly applicable actuation mechanism due to its programmability and compatibility with biological entities. Here we demonstrate magnetic DNA origami nanorotors (MADONAs) by assembling magnetic nanocubes on DNA origami.

Deterministic Nucleation of Nanocrystal Superlattices on 2D Perovskites for Light‐Funneling Heterostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work investigates the heterogeneous nucleation of CsPbBr3${\rm CsPbBr}_3$ nanocrystal superlattices along the faces of 2D PEA2PbBr4${\rm PEA}_2{\rm PbBr}_4$ layered perovskite microcrystals. Core–crown and core–shell heterostructure morphologies are obtained.
