In this experimental study, the mechanical properties of additively manufactured Ti‐6Al‐4V lattice structures of different geometries are characterized using compression, four point bending and fatigue testing. While TPMS designs show superior fatigue resistance, SplitP and Honeycomb lattice structures combine high stiffness and strength. The resulting

High‐temperature interactions between low‐sulfur Al‐killed Mn–B steel and MgO–C refractories (0 and 50 wt% recyclates) are studied via finger immersion tests (1600 °C). Surface‐active elements influence infiltration. MgO/CaS layer forms, along with spinel and calcium silicate.

The thermal diffusivity of MgO‐C refractories is highly sensitive to sample preparation and processing procedures. In this article, the effects of coking sequence, machining conditions, structural inhomogeneity, and graphite coating application on measurements using laser flash apparatus are systematically investigated.

Irradiation hardening of Fe ions in additive manufacturing 316 stainless steels
The 316 stainless steels were fabricated by selective laser melting (SLM) additive manufacturing and compared to the traditionally manufactured counterparts. The microstructure and performance of the traditionally manufacturing and additive manufacturing

Evaluation of Irradiation Hardening of P92 Steel under Ar Ion Irradiation
P92 steel was irradiated with Ar ion up to 10 dpa at 200, 400, and 700 °C. The effect of Ar ion irradiation on hardness was investigated with nanoindentation tests and microstructure analyses.

It is shown that laser ablation pretreatment under oxygen‐free conditions enables copper–aluminium bonding at significantly lower deformation degrees and improved properties compared to mechanical brushing. Laser ablation further increases interface contact area and induces favourable residual stress states and microstructural compatibility ...

Irradiation induced hardening is commonly observed in structural materials, and is often associated with the degraded ductility. This study explores the role of thermomechanical processing (TMP) in mitigating irradiation-induced hardening in Incoloy 800H.
