IRREDUCIBLE COXETER GROUPS [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Algebra and Computation, 2007
We prove that a non-spherical irreducible Coxeter group is (directly) indecomposable and that an indefinite irreducible Coxeter group is strongly indecomposable in the sense that all its finite index subgroups are (directly) indecomposable. Let W be a Coxeter group.

Decomposition of reductive regular prehomogeneous vector spaces [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Let (G,V) be a regular prehomogeneous vector space (abbreviated to PV), where G is a connected reductive algebraic group over C. If $V= \oplus_{i=0}^{n}V_{i}$ is a decomposition of V into irreducible representations, then, in general, the PV's $(G,V_{i})$

Irreducible numerical semigroups [PDF]

open access: yesPacific Journal of Mathematics, 2003
A numerical semigroup is said to be irreducible whenever it can not be expressed as an intersection of two numerical semigroups containing it properly. The paper under review studies several aspects of these semigroups. In Section 1, the authors give a characterization of irreducible semigroups in terms of their Frobenius number.

2-irreducible and strongly 2-irreducible ideals of commutative rings [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
An ideal I of a commutative ring R is said to be irreducible if it cannot be written as the intersection of two larger ideals. A proper ideal I of a ring R is said to be strongly irreducible if for each ideals J, K of R, J\cap K\subseteq I implies that J\

Dynamic properties of the dynamical system SFnm(X), SFnm(f))

open access: yesApplied General Topology, 2020
Let X be a continuum and let n be a positive integer. We consider the hyperspaces Fn(X) and SFn(X). If m is an integer such that n > m ≥ 1, we consider the quotient space SFnm(X). For a given map f : X → X, we consider the induced maps Fn(f) : Fn(X) → Fn(

Trochanteric and subtrochanteric fractures irreducible by closed reduction: a retrospective study

open access: yesJournal of Orthopaedic Surgery and Research, 2023
Aim To explore the preoperative radiographic features and reduction methods of irreducible trochanteric and subtrochanteric fractures of the femur and to compare the perioperative characteristics and prognoses of irreducible and reducible fractures ...

Irreducible Radial Dislocation of the Proximal Interphalangeal Joint of a Finger

open access: yesJournal of Orthopaedics, Trauma and Rehabilitation, 2015
Dislocations of the proximal interphalangeal joint (PIPJ) are often easily reduced with closed reduction and manipulation. Irreducible PIPJ dislocations are rare.

On α-Fuzzy Soft Irreducible Spaces

open access: yesAl-Mustansiriyah Journal of Science, 2023
We define fuzzy soft irreducible sets, a-fuzzy soft irreducible sets in fuzzy soft topological spaces and study the properties including (fuzzy soft continuity; fuzzy soft homeomorphism and fuzzy soft topological properties) on a-fuzzy soft irreducible ...

Irreducible Subcube Partitions

open access: yesThe Electronic Journal of Combinatorics, 2023
A subcube partition is a partition of the Boolean cube $\{0,1\}^n$ into subcubes. A subcube partition is irreducible if the only sub-partitions whose union is a subcube are singletons and the entire partition. A subcube partition is tight if it “mentions” all coordinates.

Representations of the cyclically symmetric q-deformed algebra $so_q(3)$

open access: yes, 1998
An algebra homomorphism $\psi$ from the nonstandard q-deformed (cyclically symmetric) algebra $U_q(so_3)$ to the extension ${\hat U}_q(sl_2)$ of the Hopf algebra $U_q(sl_2)$ is constructed.
