New iterative codes for 𝓗-tensors and an application

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2016
New iterative codes for identifying 𝓗 -tensor are obtained. As an application, some sufficient conditions of the positive definiteness for an even-order real symmetric tensor, i.e., an even-degree homogeneous polynomial form are given.

2-Irreducible and Strongly 2-Irreducible Submodules of a Module

open access: yesIranian Journal of Mathematical Sciences and Informatics, 2023
Let R be a commutative ring with identity and M be an R-module. In this paper, we will introduce the concept of 2-irreducible (resp., strongly 2- irreducible) submodules of M as a generalization of irreducible (resp., strongly irreducible) submodules of M and investigated some properties of these classes of modules.

New High‐Tc Charge‐Transfer Multiferroicity in the Quasi‐2D Antiferromagnet CrSbS3

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Low‐dimensional magnets, particularly 2D systems, offer a rich platform for realizing unconventional multiferroic mechanisms, especially when multiple polarization channels coexist. In the quasi‐2D antiferromagnet CrSbS3, which crystallizes in the centrosymmetric orthorhombic space group Pnma and orders magnetically at TN ≈ 90 K, two ...

Some Remarks on Anchor of Irreducible Characters [PDF]

open access: yesAdvances in Group Theory and Applications
In this paper, we show that the direct product of the anchors of two irreducible characters is the anchor of the tensor product of their irreducible characters. We prove that the anchor of any irreducible character of a p-group G is G itself.

An Algorithm for Computing Minimum-Length Irreducible Testors

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
In pattern recognition, the elimination of unnecessary and/or redundant attributes is known as feature selection. Irreducible testors have been used to perform this task.

On Albert Problem and Irreducible Modules

open access: yesMathematics, 2023
Motivated by the relation between Albert’s Problem and irreducible modules within the class of commutative power-associative algebras, in this paper, we show some equivalences to Albert’s Problem.

Diverse Landscape of Tunable Magnetic, Topological, and Ferroelectric States in 2D Ti3Se3Te2

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Ti3Se3Te2 emerges as a multifunctional 2D van der Waals platform. The monolayer is a dynamically stable ferromagnetic quantum anomalous Hall insulator. In bilayers, two stacking configurations yield distinct phases: AA‐stacking hosts an altermagnetic quantum spin Hall insulator, while AA′‐stacking exhibits three‐state in‐plane ferroelectricity ...

Irreducible Decomposition of Curves

open access: yesJournal of Symbolic Computation, 2002
This paper describes an algorithm for computing all irreducible components of a (not necessarily reduced) algebraic curve \(\mathcal C\) defined over \(\mathbb Q\) and embedded in a space of arbitrary dimension. The classical procedure is to take a generic projection of the curve to a plane and factorize the equation of the plane projection.
