The electrolyte wetting of a lithium ion battery cylindrical cell is explored in this study with a 3D resolved continuum model that considers the exact spiral geometry found in commercial 18650 cells. The jelly roll architecture and capillary pressure are shown to be key determinants of the wetting degree and electrolyte distribution within the cell ...

Abstract This paper examines the intensified conflict over sexualities education curricula brought about by anti‐(trans)gender and anti‐Muslim policy and political discourse transnationally. Backlash against inclusive sexualities education has taken shape across several policy territories, driven in part by de‐democratising right‐wing populist ...

A Krull-Schmdit type theorem for coherent sheaves
Let X be projective variety over an algebraically closed field k and G be a finite group with g.c.d.(char(k), |G|) = 1. We prove that any representations of G on a coherent sheaf, ρ : G → End(ℰ), has a natural decomposition ℰ ≃ ⊕ V ⊗k ℱV, where G acts ...

eCherry: A Modelica Library for Modular Dynamic Modelling of Electrochemical Reactors
ABSTRACT Electrochemical reactors offer promising pathways for defossilizing the chemical industry. To understand the operation as well as to evaluate and optimise their performance and efficiency, modelling presents a crucial tool. Currently, no comprehensive open‐source library for dynamic modelling of electrochemical reactors exists, and instead ...

Irreducible representations of normal spaces [PDF]
We define the notion of irreducible polyhedral representation of a normal space making use of approximate inverse systems. This generalizes the concept of irreducible polyhedral expansions introduced in 1937 by Freudenthal for metric compacta and generalized to uniform spaces by Isbell in 1961.

Drought and deluge—opportunities for climate‐change adaptation in US national parks
In a changing climate, resource management depends on anticipating changes and considering uncertainties. To facilitate effective decision making on public lands, we regionally summarized the magnitude and uncertainty of projected change in management‐relevant climate variables for 332 national park units across the contiguous US.

Irreducible representations of the rational Cherednik algebra associated to the Coxeter group H_3 [PDF]
This paper describes irreducible representations in category O of the rational Cherednik algebra H_c(H_3,h) associated to the exceptional Coxeter group H_3 and any complex parameter c. We compute the characters of all these representations explicitly. As

On Endomorphism Universality of Sparse Graph Classes
ABSTRACT We show that every commutative idempotent monoid (a.k.a. lattice) is the endomorphism monoid of a subcubic graph. This solves a problem of Babai and Pultr and the degree bound is best‐possible. On the other hand, we show that no class excluding a minor can have all commutative idempotent monoids among its endomorphism monoids. As a by‐product,

Three point interaction of Dirac fermions with higher spin particles and discrete symmetries
We constructed all possible kinematically allowed three-point interactions of two massless Dirac spinors with massive higher-spin bosons. In any D spacetime, the interactions have been constructed using the projections of the higher spin irreducible ...

Classification of irreducible based modules over the complex representation ring of $ S_4 $
The complex representation rings of finite groups are the fundamental class of fusion rings, categorified by the corresponding fusion categories of complex representations.
