Molecular Templating Enables Precise CeNiC2/Ni Heterostructures for Efficient Alkaline Hydrogen Oxidation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A series of Bi‐TMCs‐based heterostructures (CeNiC2/Ni‐x%) have been precisely constructed through a “molecular‐template”‐assisted strategy, which exhibits remarkable alkaline HOR performance derived from the strong synergy between Ni and CeNiC2 components.

Near-Infrared Spectroscopy of Centaurs and Irregular Satellites [PDF]

open access: yesThe Astronomical Journal, 2000
We have obtained near-infrared spectra of the four brightest known Centaurs and of five irregular satellites of giant planets. Many of these objects show 1.5 and 2.0 μm absorption bands indicative of water ice, including 1997 CU_(26), Pholus, Phoebe (S9), and Nereid (N2).

Bioactive Conductive Ti3C2Tx‐Ce Hydrogel Facilitates Spinal Cord Injury Repair Through ROS Scavenging and Mitochondrial Regulation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Bioactive conductive Ti3C2Tx‐Ce hydrogels with with scavenging ROS and alleviating neuronal mitochondrial dysfunction are exploited for SCI treatment. This functionality is attributed to interfacial activation modification of Ti3C2Tx with Ce3+ ions to in‐situ form Ce(OH)x‐mediated protective layer, which is beneficial to enabling stable intracellular ...

Long‐Term Variability of Mars' Exosphere Density Based on Precise Orbital Analysis of Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter and Mars Odyssey

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters
The variability of Mars exosphere over monthly to solar‐cycle scales at 251 and 412 km altitude is quantified by analysis of 41‐Ls mean densities derived from precise orbit determination of the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) and Mars Odyssey (MO ...

Rice Fields Mapping in Fragmented Area Using Multi-Temporal HJ-1A/B CCD Images

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2015
Rice is one of the most important crops in the world; meanwhile, the rice field is also an important contributor to greenhouse gas methane emission. Therefore, it is important to get an accurate estimation of rice acreage for both food production and ...

Coagulative Granular Hydrogels with an Enzyme Catalyzed Fibrin Network for Endogenous Tissue Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Coagulative granular hydrogels are composed of packed thrombin‐functionalized microgels that catalyze the conversion of fibrinogen into a secondary fibrin network, filling the interstitial voids. This bio‐inspired approach stabilizes the biomaterial to match the robustness of bulk hydrogels without compromising injectability, mimicking the initial ...

A Centroiding Algorithm for Point-source Trails

open access: yesThe Astronomical Journal
Astrometric measurements are significantly challenged by the relative motion between the point source and the telescope, primarily due to the difficulty in accurately determining the position of the point source at the mid-exposure moment.
