This study explores how machine learning models, trained on small experimental datasets obtained via Phase Doppler Anemometry (PDA), can accurately predict droplet size (D32) in ultrasonic spray coating (USSC). By capturing the influence of ink complexity (solvent, polymer, nanoparticles), power, and flow rate, the model enables precise droplet control

On the long range propagation of sound over irregular terrain [PDF]
The theory of sound propagation over randomly irregular, nominally plane terrain of finite impedance is discussed. The analysis is an extension of the theory of coherent scatter originally proposed by Biot for an irregular rigid surface. It combines Biot'

Additively Manufactured Porous Ceramics as Tunable Dielectrics for Passive Temperature Sensing
Porous ceramic lattices, 3D‐printed from a multicomponent oxide ink, are integrated with LC resonators for passive wireless temperature sensing. By tuning porosity, the dielectric properties and RF response are engineered to produce distinct resonant frequency shifts with temperature. The results establish a structure‐driven approach to customizing the

Numerical Modelling of Irregular waves and Irregular Wave Forces with REEF3D
In this study, the irregular wave generation using the numerical model REEF3D is tested and validated. The testing for the empty wave tank is done in order to test the irregular wave generation and the propagation. The influence of the different numerical and hydrodynamic parameters on the results is studied.
