Transparent Inorganic–Organic Bilayer Neural Electrode Array and Integration to Miniscope System for In Vivo Calcium Imaging and Electrophysiology

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents the BioCLEAR system, a highly transparent and conductive neural electrode array composed of silver nanowires (AgNWs) and doped PEDOT:PSS, enabling neural recordings with minimal optical artifacts. When integrated with a GRIN lens, this cost‐effective neural implant allows simultaneous electrophysiological recording and GCaMP6‐based ...

Was Calvyn ’n Calvinis? Of was/is die Calvinisme Calvyns?

open access: yesKoers : Bulletin for Christian Scholarship, 1983
It has become essential to look critically at the development that has taken place from Calvin to the state of Calvinism today. Can contemporary Calvinism really he regarded as being in the true spirit of Calvin?

Precursor Mineral Phases of Forming Mollusk Shell Nacre: A Study of Hydrated Samples

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Mineral, organic phase, and water are the essential components in mollusk shell nacre formation. Their interplay is not well understood, because the hydrated material is difficult to observe at high resolution, under close to native conditions. Forming nacre is studied using environmental and cryo‐electron microscopy and hydrated ACC phases, together ...

Automatic Coastline Extraction Using Radar and Optical Satellite Imagery and Wavelet-IHS Fusion Method

open access: yesInternational Journal of Coastal and Offshore Engineering, 2018
The coastline is defined as an edge or land margin by the sea. Managing such ecological environments in terms of continuous changes requires monitoring at different intervals.

Oral Dosed Organo‐Silica Nanoparticles Restore Glucose Homeostasis and β‐Cell Function in Diabetes Rats

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An oral nanoplatform, MOP@T@D, which can maintain glucose homeostasis and restore islet β cells in diabetic rats is developed. It achieves efficient intestinal absorption and liver‐targeted delivery. The nanoparticle disintegrates only in response to hyperglycemia to release insulin on demand and provides antioxidant protection through selenoprotein ...

Purcell‐Enhanced Spectrally Precise Emission in Dual‐Microcavity Organic Light‐Emitting Diodes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Spectrally precise emission from broadband organic light‐emitting diodes is realized via a dual‐microcavity strategy. This architecture achieves narrowband emission (full width at half maximum, FWHM = 21 nm) with ultrapure color approaching BT.2020 by enhancing the Purcell effect via coupling of excitons with dual‐microcavity resonance.

Was ist dezentral an der Energiewende? Infrastrukturen erneuerbarer Energien als Herausforderungen und Chancen für ländliche Räume

open access: yesRaumforschung und Raumordnung, 2015
Decentralisation is an important catchword of the German Energiewende (energy transition), due to the fact that the renewable energy sources (e.g. solar radiation and wind) are generally found everywhere. Consequently, novel socio-technical systems have

Multiplicity, Disks and Jets in the NGC 2071 Star-Forming Region

open access: yes, 2011
We present centimeter and millimeter observations of the NGC 2071 star-forming region performed with the VLA and CARMA. We detected counterparts at 3.6 cm and 3 mm for the previously known sources IRS 1, IRS 2, IRS 3, and VLA 1.
