Targets faced by inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) are often non-cooperative, with target maneuvering being the main manifestation of this non-cooperation.

We study dualities between Lie algebras and Lie coalgebras, and their respective (co)representations. To allow a study of dualities in an infinite-dimensional setting, we introduce the notions of Lie monads and Lie comonads, as special cases of YB-Lie ...

Abstract Type 1 diabetes is recognized as a chronic disease with a presymptomatic phase that does not require insulin therapy and a clinical phase where insulin treatment becomes necessary. The presymptomatic phase is characterized by the presence of autoantibodies targeting pancreatic islet beta cell antigens (islet autoantibodies).

Categorical structures enriched in a quantaloid: tensored and cotensored categories [PDF]
Our subject is that of categories, functors and distributors enriched in a base quantaloid Q. We show how cocomplete Q-categories are precisely those which are tensored and conically cocomplete, or alternatively, those which are tensored, cotensored and order-cocomplete.

ISAR Image formation with a combined Empirical Mode Decomposition and Time-Frequency Representation
International audienceIn this paper, a method for Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (ISAR) image formation based on the use of the Complex Empirical Mode Decomposition (CEMD) is proposed.

This meta‐analysis of 1835 patients (527 females, 1308 males) shows that elevated RPs are significant predictors of MACCE in both sexes (males: OR 1.99, 95% CI 1.3–3.05; females: OR 2.29, 95% CI 1.31–3.99). Elevated RPs are more strongly associated with cardiovascular death in females (OR 3.29, 95% CI 1.69–6.40) compared to males (OR 2.19, 95% CI .98–4.

A Hybrid SAR/ISAR Approach for Refocusing Maritime Moving Targets with the GF-3 SAR Satellite
Due to self-motion and sea waves, moving ships are typically defocused in synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images. To focus non-cooperative targets, the inverse SAR (ISAR) technique is commonly used with motion compensation.

Density operator and entropy of the damped quantum harmonic oscillator [PDF]
The expression for the density operator of the damped harmonic oscillator is derived from the master equation in the framework of the Lindblad theory for open quantum systems. Then the von Neumann entropy and effective temperature of the system are obtained.

ABSTRACT The treatment of elderly, nonfit acute myeloid leukemia (AML)/MDS patients with relapsed/refractory (R/R) disease remains challenging. As histone demethylase LSD1 (KDM1A) is a rational therapeutic target in AML, we conducted a phase I trial (“rolling‐six design”) with the LSD1 inhibitor tranylcypromine (TCP, dose levels [DL] 20, 40, 60, 80 mg ...
