Application of S-Transform in ISAR Imaging [PDF]
In inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) imaging, time-frequency analysis is the basic method for processing echo signals, which are reflected by the results of time-frequency analysis as each component changes over time. In the time-frequency map, a target’s rigid body components will appear as a series of single-frequency signals in the low ...

Decoherence and asymptotic entanglement in open quantum dynamics
In the framework of the theory of open systems based on completely positive quantum dynamical semigroups, we determine the degree of quantum decoherence of a harmonic oscillator interacting with a thermal bath.

Sampling design may obscure species–area relationships in landscape-scale field studies [PDF]
We investigated 1) the role of area per se in explaining anuran species richness on reservoir forest islands, after controlling for several confounding factors.

This study uses single‐nucleus RNA sequencing and spatial transcriptomics to investigate penile squamous cell carcinoma (PSCC). It reveals that PSCC tumor cells mimic normal penile epithelium differentiation, independent of HPV status. The Tum_1 subtype shows basal stem‐like characteristics and promotes invasiveness. HPV‐positive basal stem‐like tumors

Fine‐Tuning NIR‐Absorbing BODIPYs for Photoacoustic Detection of Hypochlorous Ion (OCl−)
High selectivity for hypochlorous ion over other competing reactive oxygen species was achieved by optimizing different regioisomers of conjugation‐extended, near‐infrared‐absorbing BODIPYs for photoacoustic imaging. Abstract Highly reactive oxygen and nitrogen species (ROS/RNS) play crucial roles in various pathological conditions.

A logical analysis of fixpoint theorems [PDF]
We prove a fixpoint theorem for contractions on Cauchy-complete quantale-enriched categories. It holds for any quantale whose underlying lattice is continuous, and applies to contractions whose control function is sequentially lower-semicontinuous. Sufficient conditions for the uniqueness of the fixpoint are established.

MYC: The Guardian of Its Own Chaos
MYC is an oncogene that drives tumorigenesis through enhanced transcription and replication. Paradoxically, MYC induces transcriptional and replicative stress and acts as a resilience factor against these stressors. We discuss how MYC balances these stressors to promote tumor growth while evading immune detection and propose strategies to target MYC ...

Abstract Phocaeicola vulgatus (formerly Bacteroides vulgatus), an anaerobic gut bacterium, produces several organic acids. Research on P. vulgatus is still in its infancy. However, a detailed understanding of P. vulgatus growth and metabolism is essential for its assessment as an organic acid producer.
