A New Experimental Setup to Study the Olfactory Behaviour of Trichogramma Egg Parasitoids
We developed an experimental setup to assess odor‐induced egg‐laying behavior in tiny egg‐parasitoid wasps. This Y‐shaped olfactometer, coupled with an AI‐based image‐recognition model, automatically quantifies egg parasitism by Trichogramma wasps. Olfactory‐driven egg‐laying preferences were analyzed using Bayesian inference.

Irreversible ECM proteolysis by remodeling enzymes shapes development, homeostasis, and disease. ECM‐degrading proteases display cell specificity and are governed by shared mechanisms, exhibiting functional redundancy in generating matrikines, growth factors, and cytokines.

Key Points A new magnetite reference material (PF21mt) is available for δ18O measurements by SIMS. Reproducibility of measurement results in two laboratories suggest orientation bias of ±2‰ (2s) at 20 keV. Repeatability improves to ±1‰ (2s) when using a 13 keV protocol, suggesting reduced orientation bias. In situ isotope ratio measurements provide the

PREAMBULAR HISTORY: THE VIEW OF THE PAST IN KEY HUMAN RIGHTS INSTRUMENTS
ABSTRACT This article claims that the preambles of foundational human rights instruments, taken together, articulate a consistent view of the past. This view is firmly rooted in historical processes, embedded in metaphysical truths, and enacted in service of the future. Part 1 assesses the strengths and weaknesses of the “preambular approach to history”

Miners' Reward Elasticity and Stability of Competing Proof‐of‐Work Cryptocurrencies
ABSTRACT Proof‐of‐Work cryptocurrencies employ miners to sustain the system through algorithmic reward adjustments. We develop a stochastic model of the multicurrency mining and identify conditions for stable transaction speeds. Bitcoin's algorithm requires hash supply elasticity <$<$1 for stability, while ASERT remains stable for any elasticity and ...

Family Firms and Audit Effort: An Empirical Examination of Audit Hours per Auditor Rank
ABSTRACT This study examines how audit effort varies across auditor ranks in response to family firm ownership. Prior research suggests that family firms typically face lower information asymmetry between shareholders and managers, leading to reduced audit fees and effort.

ABSTRACT This paper examines the role of country‐level regulatory disclosure requirements in moderating the relationship between audit partner tenure and audit fees. Using a sample of publicly listed companies in Western Europe, our findings reveal that audit partners with longer tenure charge higher fees, reflecting their incremental contribution to ...
