Ferroptosis‐Mediated Hippocampal Neuronal Loss Post‐mTBI: Chromatin Accessibility Profiling and Single‐Nucleus Transcriptomics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Hippocampal single ‐nucleus transcriptomes and chromatin accessibility after mild traumatic brain injury reveal dentate granule neuron vulnerability driven by ferroptosis. The c‐Jun–Tmsb4x–Slc2a2 axis modulates lipid peroxidation and iron dysregulation.

A Time‐Programmed Bilayer Wound Dressing for Dynamic Microenvironment Modulation and Full‐Thickness Regeneration in Diabetic Wounds

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The Polyphenol+PDGF‐BB scaffold fabrication (Panel A) and its dual wound healing effects (Panel B: anti‐inflammation and accelerated tissue remodeling). ABSTRACT Chronic diabetic wounds suffer from dysfunctional repair programs due to accumulated advanced glycation end products (AGEs) and persistent inflammation in hyperglycemic microenvironments ...

Microglial Fkbp5 Impairs Post‐Stroke Vascular Integrity and Regeneration by Promoting Yap1‐Mediated Glycolysis and Oxidative Phosphorylation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A post‐stroke perivascular niche of microglia characterized by low expression of M2 markers and elevated glycolysis, oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS), and phagocytic activity is identified, which is termed stroke‐activated vascular‐associated microglia (stroke‐VAM).

Biodegradable Adhesive Systems for Bio‐Integrated Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Biodegradable adhesives provide temporary yet reliable adhesion while degrading into safe, non‐toxic by‐products under physiological or environmental conditions. This review summarizes recent developments in physical and chemical adhesion mechanisms—including hydrogen bonding, catechol chemistry, amine‐carboxyl coupling, and emerging diazirine and urea

Affinity‐Based Protein Profiling Revealed that HIGD1A is a Direct Target Protein of Aristolochic Acids

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Using an affinity‐based probe, this study reveals that aristolochic acid directly binds to HIGD1A with high affinity in the kidney. This binding disrupts the HIGD1A‐TFAM interaction, which in turn triggers TFAM degradation, cytosolic mitochondrial DNA release, and the activation of inflammatory pathways. Abstract Exposure to aristolochic acids (AA) via
