Outcomes after Perioperative Transient Ischemic Attack Following Cardiac Surgery
Perioperative transient ischemic attacks (PTIAs) are associated with significantly increased rates of postoperative complications such as low cardiac output, atrial fibrillation, and significantly higher mortality in cardiac procedures.

Robotic exoskeleton assessment of transient ischemic attack. [PDF]
We used a robotic exoskeleton to quantify specific patterns of abnormal upper limb motor behaviour in people who have had transient ischemic attack (TIA). A cohort of people with TIA was recruited within two weeks of symptom onset.
