Did the Indian Green Revolution Change the Farm Size–Productivity Relationship?
ABSTRACT We examine the relationship between farm size and productivity during India's Green Revolution, a period of rapid technological transformation. Using a unique panel of over 5000 Indian farm households that spans the Green Revolution (1971–1999), we show that the classic (linear) inverse farm size–productivity relationship gradually evolved ...

Parametric Frequency Divider Based Ising Machines
We report on a new class of Ising Machines (IMs) that rely on coupled parametric frequency dividers (PFDs) as macroscopic artificial spins. Unlike the IM counterparts based on subharmonic injection locking (SHIL), PFD IMs do not require strong injected continuous wave signals or applied DC voltages.

Understanding Egg Price Volatility and Policy Implications in the U.S. With Machine Learning
ABSTRACT Eggs are an inexpensive and sustainable source of proteins, but volatility in the U.S. egg prices has intensified in recent years, raising concerns over food affordability and market stability. This study examines the drivers of U.S. egg price dynamics over 2004–2025 using a two‐stage framework that combines LASSO‐based variable selection with

Large Language Model in Materials Science: Roles, Challenges, and Strategic Outlook
Large language models (LLMs) are reshaping materials science. Acting as Oracle, Surrogate, Quant, and Arbiter, they now extract knowledge, predict properties, gauge risk, and steer decisions within a traceable loop. Overcoming data heterogeneity, hallucinations, and poor interpretability demands domain‐adapted models, cross‐modal data standards, and ...

Extractive Summarization on a CMOS Ising Machine
Extractive summarization (ES) aims to generate a concise summary by selecting a subset of sentences from a document while maximizing relevance and minimizing redundancy. Although modern ES systems achieve high accuracy using powerful neural models, their
