Performance Estimation and Ex Vivo Validation of Untethered Magnetic Robots in Soft Tissue
This study presents an empirical model that quantitatively predicts the step‐out frequency of screw‐type untethered magnetic robots (UMRs) in soft viscoelastic environments, including ex vivo brain tissue. By integrating key parameters into a dimensionless framework, the model enables estimation of robot performance across a range of biological ...

Vertical structure of a supernova-driven turbulent magnetized ISM
Stellar feedback drives the circulation of matter from the disk to the halo of galaxies. We perform three-dimensional magnetohydrodynamic simulations of a vertical column of the interstellar medium with initial conditions typical of the solar circle in which supernovae drive turbulence and determine the vertical stratification of the medium.

3D ISM structure challenges the Serkowski relation
The Serkowski relation is the cornerstone of studies of starlight polarization as a function of wavelength. Although empirical, its extensive use since its inception to describe polarization induced by interstellar dust has elevated the relation to the status of an indisputable "law", serving as the benchmark for validating interstellar dust grain ...
