A metal‐free nitrosation process enables direct C–H functionalization of polyethylene (PE) with high selectivity, producing either oxime‐ or carbonyl‐functionalized polymers. Using t‐BuONO under visible light or thermal conditions, the process operates in both lab‐scale and industrial settings.

Critical System Size for the Recovery of Topological Zero Modes in Finite Non‐Hermitian Systems
A generalized non‐Hermitian SSH model on a topolectrical circuit reveals size‐dependent topological zero modes. Non‐Hermiticity enables exact zero‐admittance edge states at a critical system size, tunable via asymmetric coupling and gain/loss. Large impedance peaks signal these modes, offering insights for designing robust topological devices with ...

Homoterpene Biosynthesis in Fungi
The first homoterpene biosynthetic pathway in the fungal kingdom is reported. A methyltransferase–terpene cyclase pair produces a unique heptamethyl bicyclo[3.3.1]nonane homoterpene via presodorifen, demonstrating that homoterpene biosynthesis via the addition of a C1 unit to terpene diphosphate precursors prior to scaffold formation extends beyond the
