THE IMPACT OF ISO 9001 ON FINANCIAL LIQUIDITY OF SMES OPERATING IN THE RENEWABLE ENERGY SECTOR IN THE PODKARPACKIE PROVINCE

open access: yesModern Management Review, 2023
The years 2020–2022 are a time of crises caused by pandemics and the war in Ukraine. In order to survive on the market, enterprises have been forced to introduce appropriate mechanisms that would allow them to run their business without disruption. Among

A NOVEL GREEDY GENETIC ALGORITHM TO SOLVE COMBINATORIAL OPTIMIZATION PROBLEM [PDF]

open access: yesThe International Archives of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences, 2020
In this paper, a modified genetic algorithm based on greedy sequential algorithm is presented to solve combinatorial optimization problem. The algorithm proposed here is a hybrid of heuristic and computational intelligence algorithm where greedy ...

Development of project management standards: International experience

open access: yesInnovation and Sustainability, 2023
The article examines the main international standards for quality management and configuration management in projects. The most widespread standards were analyzed, namely: PMBOK (A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge) – a body of knowledge ...

Utility of the Surgical Toggle-Pin Suture Technique for Left Displacement of the Abomasum in Pregnant Cattle

open access: yesAnimals
Although one-step laparoscopic abomasopexy is a highly effective method for correcting left displacement of the abomasum (LDA) in pregnant cows, it is not accessible to all veterinarians because of the need for expensive equipment and substantial ...

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Iso edge domains

open access: yesExpositiones Mathematicae, 2022
Iso-edge domains are a variant of the iso-Delaunay decomposition introduced by Voronoi. They were introduced by Baranovskii & Ryshkov in order to solve the covering problem in dimension $5$. In this work we revisit this decomposition and prove the following new results: $\bullet$ We review the existing theory and give a general mass-formula for the

Pre‐analytical optimization of cell‐free DNA and extracellular vesicle‐derived DNA for mutation detection in liquid biopsies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

CD47 promotes mitogen‐activated protein kinase and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition molecular programs to drive prometastatic phenotypes in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.
