Isoelectric focusing and isoelectric points of aminoacyl‐tRNA synthetases [PDF]

open access: yesFEBS Letters, 1983
Isoelectric points and isoelectric focusing behaviour of 10 highly purified eukaryotic aminoacyl‐tRNA synthetases from 3 sources, Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Euglena gracilis and Phaseolus vulgaris were examined. The pI‐values measured on polyacrylamide gels under native conditions are situated between pH 5.0–7.5.

PIP-DB:the protein isoelectric point database [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
A protein's isoelectric point or pI corresponds to the solution pH at which its net surface charge is zero. Since the early days of solution biochemistry, the pI has been recorded and reported, and thus literature reports of pI abound.

COMPARATIVE STUDY ON MILK CASEIN ASSAY METHODS

open access: yesScientific Papers Animal Science and Biotechnologies, 2023
Casein, the main milk protein was determined by different assay methods: the gravimetric method, the method based on the neutralization of the NaOH excess used for the casein precipitate solving and the method based on the titration of the acetic acid ...

Decoding the Virtual 2D Map of the Chloroplast Proteomes

open access: yesBiological Procedures Online, 2022
Background The chloroplast is a semi-autonomous organelle having its own genome and corresponding proteome. Although chloroplast genomes have been reported, no reports exist on their corresponding proteomes.

Impact of IgG subclass on molecular properties of monoclonal antibodies

open access: yesmAbs, 2021
Immunoglobulin G-based monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) have become a dominant class of biotherapeutics in recent decades. Approved antibodies are mainly of the subclasses IgG1, IgG2, and IgG4, as well as their derivatives. Over the decades, the selection of
