ABSTRACT Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a known risk factor for hypercalcemia in cats. Phosphate‐restricted diets have also been implicated in causing hypercalcemia, in part because phosphate restriction increases the Ca:P ratio. The primary objective of this study was to evaluate the impact of two different therapeutic renal foods on ionized (iCa ...

Multi‐Omics Signatures of Periodontitis and Periodontal Therapy on the Oral and Gut Microbiome
This multi‐omics study integrates shotgun metagenomics and NMR metabolomics to reveal coordinated microbial and metabolic signatures of periodontitis across the oral–gut axis. Non‐surgical periodontal therapy partially restored ecological and functional balance, supporting oral health as a modifiable driver of systemic microbial homeostasis.

ABSTRACT Brain development is an ongoing process that occurs throughout the first 1000 days of life (conception until 2 years) and proceeds throughout childhood, adolescence and up until early adulthood. Adequate nutrient intakes are crucial for both neurodevelopment inside the womb and critical life‐stages thereafter when the brain continues to grow ...

The environmentally responsive plant epigenome: insights from jasmonate signaling
Summary The environmental responsiveness of the plant epigenome is essential for spatiotemporally precise gene regulation, enabling plants to adapt to external cues. Elucidating the mechanisms underlying this responsiveness is therefore fundamental to deciphering the molecular logic of plant‐environment interactions.
