Controlled Lattice Distortion and Lattice‐Strain‐Engineered CoCuIr Alloy toward Preferential Chlorine Tolerant Direct Seawater Electrolysis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A lattice‐strain‐engineered Co0.28Cu0.67Ir0.05 trimetallic alloy nanoparticle electrocatalyst is rationally designed for efficient alkaline seawater electrolysis. Larger Ir atoms in the CoCu lattice modulate the local coordination environment, generating compressive lattice strain and highly active catalytic sites.

Mitochondria‐Targeted Multimodal Nanotherapeutics Suppress Oxidized mtDNA‐Driven Inflammation at the Source

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Ox‐mtDNA fragments escaping from mitochondria drive robust inflammatory responses. A targeted nanoplatform simultaneously inhibits mitochondrial FEN1‐mediated mtDNA cleavage and scavenges ROS, preventing the generation of immunogenic Ox‐mtDNA fragments. The released SeNPs further promote autophagic clearance of cytosolic mtDNA. Consequently, cGAS‐STING,

Effect of Ti addition on the kinetics and mechanism of non-isothermal and isothermal oxidation of Nb–Si–Mo alloys at 900 °C–1200 °C

Intermetallics, 2021
The effect of 20 at% Ti addition and annealing (1500 °C/100 h) on non-isothermal and isothermal oxidation behavior of as-cast hypoeutectic Nb–12Si–5Mo or hypereutectic Nb–19Si–5Mo alloys has been investigated.
