Isotope shift calculations for atoms with one valence electron
This work presents a method for the ab initio calculation of isotope shift in atoms and ions with one valence electron above closed shells. As a zero approximation we use relativistic Hartree-Fock and then calculate correlation corrections.

This study demonstrates an alternative method of creating charge‐stable negatively charged nitrogen vacancy (NV−) centers close to the diamond surface without high‐temperature annealing. By illuminating nitrogen‐implanted regions with a continuous‐wave 405 nm laser, NV− centers are induced, exhibiting electron spin coherence properties suitable for ...

Isotope effect in superconductors with coexisting interactions of phonon and nonphonon mechanisms
We examine the isotope effect of superconductivity in systems with coexisting interactions of phonon and nonphonon mechanisms in addition to the direct Coulomb interaction.

Atomic Size Misfit for Electrocatalytic Small Molecule Activation
This review explores the application and mechanisms of atomic size misfit in catalysis for small molecule activation, focusing on how structural defects and electronic properties can effectively lower the energy barriers of chemical bonds in molecules like H2O, CO2, and N2.

Thermal Conductivity of Isotopically Enriched 28Si Revisited
The thermal conductivity of isotopically enriched 28Si (enrichment better than 99.9%) was redetermined independently in three laboratories by high precision experiments on a total of 4 samples of different shape and degree of isotope enrichment in the ...
