On the universality of some Smarandache loops of Bol-Moufang type [PDF]
A Smarandache left (right) inverse property loop in which all its f; g- principal isotopes are Smarandache f; g- principal isotopes is shown to be universal if and only if it is a Smarandache left(right) Bol loop in which all its f; g- principal isotopes

Microscopic Study of the Isoscalar Giant Monopole Resonance in Cd, Sn and Pb Isotopes [PDF]
The isoscalar giant monopole resonance (ISGMR) in Cd, Sn and Pb isotopes has been studied within the self-consistent Skyrme Hartree-Fock+BCS and quasi-particle random phase approximation (QRPA). Three Skyrme parameter sets are used in the calculations, i.

From stable isotope ecology to forensic isotope ecology — Isotopes’ tales [PDF]
Stable isotope ecology and forensic isotope ecology are not only linked by name. More often than not, knowledge and insights gained through the former serve as a springboard for application focused work of the latter. This review aims to offer a glimpse into the fascinating world of both though with more emphasis on forensic isotope ecology.

Description of single and double analog states in the f7/2 shell: The Ti isotopes [PDF]
The excitation energies of single analog states in even-odd Ti isotopes and double analog states in even-even Ti isotopes are microscopically described in a single j-shell formalism. A projection procedure for generalized BCS states has been used.

Exotic Structure of Carbon Isotopes [PDF]
We studied firstly the ground state properties of C-isotopes using a deformed Hartree-Fock (HF)+ BCS model with Skyrme interactions. Shallow deformation minima are found in several neutron$-$rich C-isotopes.

Abstract An isotope method of venography using 99mTc as pertechnetate (or MAA technetium) and a gamma camera is described. Initial results are encouraging. Good visualization of the major venous channels in the lower limbs and pelvis can easily be obtained.

AbstractThe measurement of isotopic ratios provides a privileged insight both into nucleosynthesis and into the mechanisms operating in stellar envelopes, such as gravitational settling. In this article, we give a few examples of how isotopic ratios can be determined from high‐resolution, high‐quality stellar spectra.
