Anadromous fish as marine nutrient vectors [PDF]
The tidal freshwater of Virginia supports anadromous herring (Alosa spp.) spawning runs in the spring; however, their importance as nutrient delivery vectors to the freshwater fish food web remains unknown.

Beyond Earth: Resilience of Quasi‐2D Perovskite Solar Cells in Space
In the article (DOI: 10.1002/adma.202520433), Christoph Putz and co‐workers demonstrate rigid quasi‐2D perovskite solar cells operating in low Earth orbit, delivering stable power for more than 100 days under real‐space conditions. In‐orbit performance is correlated with extensive ground‐based thermal and proton‐irradiation studies on rigid and ...

Nitrogen isotope analysis of ammonium and glycine [PDF]
Stable isotope techniques can be used as a tool in nitrogen cycling studies of different ecosystems. The studies are based on measurement of the heavy (15N)- to- light (14N) isotopic ratios of nitrogen in different biospheric pools.

Dietary breadth and trophic position of introduced European catfish Silurus glanis in the River Tarn (Garonne River basin), southwest France [PDF]
Although being a widely introduced and successfully established species, the European catfish Silurus glanis L. (the world’s third largest freshwater fish) remains poorly studied in its introduced areas.

Defect engineering of ultrathin RuCu alloy nanostructures has been successfully achieved to enhance ammonia electrosynthesis under indutrial‐level current density. Simultaneously, the stable ampere‐level operation of nitrate electroreduction on defective RuCu nanostructures can drive seawater desalination at an ultrafast salt removal rate, offering an ...

Applications of Abundance Data and Requirements for Cosmochemical Modeling [PDF]
Understanding the evolution of the universe from Big Bang to its present state requires an understanding of the evolution of the abundances of the elements and isotopes in galaxies, stars, the interstellar medium, the Sun and the heliosphere, planets and

The gas‐phase decomposition of Al(acac)3 is investigated under inert, oxygen, and water‐containing conditions. Water is found to promote selective ligand removal and suppress hydrocarbon formation, while oxygen induces faster, less selective decomposition pathways.

A basin‐wide carbon‐related proxy dataset in arid China
Closed basin accounts for about one‐fifth of the global land area and is an important part of the global terrestrial carbon cycle. Due to its relatively close geographical environment and independent carbon cycling system, it is an ideal place to study ...

Nanocrystal Quality–Controlled Scintillation in Porous YAG:Ce Aerogels
High‐temperature thermal treatment of YAG:Ce nanoscintillator aerogels increases light yield under ionizing radiation by up to eightfold without affecting timing performance. Additionally, low‐temperature atmospheric treatments reversibly modify the cerium oxidation state, revealing strong defect sensitivity and offering new strategies to optimize ...
