Core-collapse supernovae are the first polluters of heavy elements in the galactic history. As such, it is important to study the nuclear compositions of their ejecta, and understand their dependence on the progenitor structure (e.g., mass, compactness ...

In maize, the bHLH transcription factor ZmbHLH118 directly binds to the promoter of ZmCLCa and inhibits its expression. Tonoplast‐localized ZmCLCa mediates NO3− influx into the vacuole to regulate intracellular NO3− homeostasis, modulating nitrate uptake and metabolism, plant growth, and grain yield.

Meteorite Radioisotope Ages Reveal Late Dynamical Chaos in the Solar System
The orbital elements of the solar system’s ancient asteroid families are highly dispersed, recording the last dynamical chaos in its history. However, dynamics alone cannot precisely date this when this terminal chaos occurred.

A non-LTE spectral analysis of the 3He and 4He isotopes in the HgMn star kappa Cancri
We present a pilot study on non-local thermodynamic equilibrium (NLTE) line-formation computations for the isotopes 3He and 4He in the mercury-manganese star kappa Cancri.

Monoclonal antibodies are powerful anticancer therapeutics targeting tumor‐associated antigens. Mass spectrometry enables precise and accurate quantification of mAbs in tumor plasma and healthy organs. Unlike ligand binding assay and radioactivity, mass spectrometry does not suffer from matrix effects and labelling artefacts while facilitating method ...

Mapping Observations of Peptide-like Molecules around Sagittarius B2
Peptide-like molecules, which have a close connection with the origin of life, have been detected in the Universe. Mapping observations of HCONH _2 and CH _3 CONH _2 , two of the simplest peptide-like molecules, are performed toward the Sagittarius B2 ...

Isotope Abundances for Potassium of Biological Origin
SummaryThe results of measurements of potassium-39/potassium-41 isotope ratios on biological samples presented in this paper do not support earlier claims (4,7,8) that the isotopes of potassium are fractionated by biological systems. Ratios obtained for potassium nitrate isolated from normal and malignant human tissues, pig and human foetal tissue and ...

Axial Fluorine and Light‐Induced Oxygen Vacancies Synergize as an Electron Pump to Lower N2 Activation Energy and Enable Sustained NH3 Synthesis on FBWO. ABSTRACT The electronic structure precision of single‐atom catalysts (SACs) represents a decisive factor limiting advancements in photocatalytic nitrogen reduction (NRR) efficiency.

M dwarfs are common host stars to exoplanets but often lack atmospheric abundance measurements. Late-M dwarfs are also good analogs to the youngest substellar companions, which share similar T _eff ∼ 2300–2800 K.
