A Molecular Line Survey of the Highly Evolved Carbon Star CIT 6 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
We present a spectral line survey of the C-rich envelope CIT 6 in the 2mm and 1.3mm bands carried out with the Arizona Radio Observatory (ARO) 12m telescope and the Heinrich Hertz Submillimeter Telescope (SMT). The observations cover the frequency ranges

Reevaluating the Activity of ZIF‐8 Based FeNCs for Electrochemical Ammonia Production

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Though receiving much attention, the field of electrochemical nitrogen reduction reaction (eNRR) to ammonia is marked by doubts about whether this reaction is possible in aqueous media. This work sheds light on this question for iron single‐atom on N‐doped carbon (FeNC) catalysts—a class of well‐known catalysts that is also worth testing for the sister

The Re-Os Isotopic System: Geochemistry and Methodology at the Geochronological Research Center (CPGeo) of the University of São Paulo, Brazil [PDF]

open access: yesGeologia USP. Série Científica, 2007
The Re-Os isotopic system is an important tool for the study of mantle-crust processes, geochronology and the tracingof source reservoirs for metal deposition.

Realisation and preliminary validation of a dilution device for the generation of CO2 gas mixtures

open access: yesMeasurement: Sensors, 2021
The present paper describes the activity carried out at Istituto Nazionale di Ricerca Metrologica (INRIM) within the EMPIR Joint Research Project 16ENV06 “Metrology for Stable Isotope Reference Standards - SIRS”, for the realisation of a dilution device ...

Solution to the isotope dilution challenge [PDF]

open access: yesAnalytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry, 2015
Over the years, isotope dilution mass spectrometry (IDMS) has witnessed many reformulations. One of the earliest expressions for this quantitation model was given by the single isotope dilution (IDMS). In IDMS, the mass fraction of an analyte A is obtained from mass spectrometric analysis of a mixture (blend) of sample and an isotopically-enriched form

Nitrogen isotope analysis of ammonium and glycine [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
Stable isotope techniques can be used as a tool in nitrogen cycling studies of different ecosystems. The studies are based on measurement of the heavy (15N)- to- light (14N) isotopic ratios of nitrogen in different biospheric pools.

A matrix isolation and computational study of molecular palladium fluorides : does PdF₆ exist? [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Palladium atoms generated by thermal evaporation and laser ablation were reacted with and trapped in F₂ /Ar, F₂ /Ne, and neat F₂ matrices. The products were characterized by electronic absorption and infrared spectroscopy, together with relativistic ...

A Tracer Diffusion Study of Diverse Photo‐Ionic Phenomena in Strontium Titanate

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Two strong interfacial photo‐ionic effects are demonstrated for the model system SrTiO3 through the application of isotope exchange experiments: UV illumination is found to enhance the oxygen surface exchange coefficient by several orders of magnitude and to depress the surface space‐charge potential substantially.

Cinética do fósforo em tecidos de suínos em crescimento Phosphorus kinetic in tissue of swine in the growing phase

Toward Scalable Solutions for Silver‐Based Gas Diffusion Electrode Fabrication for the Electrochemical Conversion of CO2 – A Perspective

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this study, the preparation techniques for silver‐based gas diffusion electrodes used for the electrochemical reduction of carbon dioxide (eCO2R) are systematically reviewed and compared with respect to their scalability. In addition, physics‐based and data‐driven modeling approaches are discussed, and a perspective is given on how modeling can aid ...
