Abstract It is shown that the anisotropy of a spatially homogeneous anisotropic minisuperspace model of the universe is likely to be very small at the present time if the universe is in the quantum state defined by a path integral over compact four-geometries.

Creep Properties and Deformation Mechanism of Additively Manufactured NiAl‐CrMo Composites
Additively manufactured NiAl‐CrMo composites contain numerous interfaces and cell boundaries that control their creep response. At 700°C under high applied stress, creep is dominated by dislocation‐controlled power‐law mechanisms. At 800°C–900°C and lower stresses, creep is primarily diffusion‐controlled along cell boundaries.

Dynamic analysis of road vehicle-bridge systems under turbulent wind by means of Finite Element Models [PDF]
When an automobile passes over a bridge dynamic effects are produced in vehicle and structure. In addition, the bridge itself moves when exposed to the wind inducing dynamic effects on the vehicle that have to be considered.

Statistical isotropy of CMB polarization maps
We formulate statistical isotropy of CMB anisotropy maps in its most general form. We also present a fast and orientation independent statistical method to determine deviations from statistical isotropy in CMB polarization maps.

See no isotropy, hear no isotropy: Perceived distance anisotropy in auditory space [PDF]
The aim of the present study was to investigate whether the tendency to perceive vertical distances as larger than horizontal ones, called the anisotropy of perceived distance, exists in the auditory modality, too.

Modular Critical Element Recycling Platform Using a Nanoporous Additively Manufactured Gyroid
A modular recycling platform integrates 3D‐printed nanoporous gyroid structures to enable efficient critical element recovery. This system utilizes a hierarchical architecture, combining macroscopic channels with polymerization‐induced nanoscale porosity. By systematically tuning structural wall thickness and resin formulation, the platform achieves an

On isotropy of electromagnetic vacuum
Recently, I. V. Aničin has raised the question of the isotropy of electromagnetic vacuum and proposed an experiment to check this isotropy directly1). In this experiment photons of a given energy are emitted from a source and are counted by a detector ...
