Search for Heavy Neutrino in K->mu nu_h(nu_h-> nu gamma) Decay at ISTRA+ Setup
Heavy neutrino nu_h with m_h < 300MeV/c^2 can be effectively searched for in kaon decays. We put upper limits on mixing matrix element |U_mu_h}|^2 for radiatively decaying nu_h from K->mu nu_h (nu_h -> nu gamma) decay chain in the following parameter ...

A precise measurement of the vector and axial-vector form factors difference $F_V-F_A$ in the $K^+\rightarrow{\mu^+}{\nu_{\mu}}{\gamma}$ decay is presented. About 95K events of $K^+\rightarrow{\mu^+}{\nu_{\mu}}{\gamma}$ are selected in the OKA experiment.

Progressive development of cracks in biochar–cement composites through multiscale analysis
Abstract The intrinsic brittleness of the cement matrix limits its synergy with steel reinforcement bars, constraining energy dissipation and crack control capacity of concrete. Enhancing the ductility of cementitious materials is, therefore, essential for improving structural resilience.

Types of Land Disputes and Ways of Their Settlement Using Forensic Expert Knowledge
Land disputes considered by the courts are very diverse. A common feature of such cases is the involvement of an expert land surveyor to resolve issues that go beyond the legal knowledge.

On the natural border: A bio‐geo‐political reading
Abstract This article engages in a critical analysis of the concept of the natural border. It highlights its inherently biopolitical nature by exploring how it intersects with biology, history and geography. In the last decades, critical border studies have deeply questioned the naturality of borders.

Experimental investigations of N‐joints made of high‐strength hollow sections
Abstract This article presents experimental investigations of the structural behaviour of welded N‐joints made of high‐strength hollow sections. A total of 13 large‐scale tests were carried out on joints made from five different steel grades (S500MH, S620QH, S700MH, S770QH and S890QH) using both circular (CHS) and square (SHS) hollow sections.

Forms of Expert Knowledge Application in Land Disputes Settlement
When considering land disputes, a court examines a large amount of evidence. In this forensic land survey expertise has taken a special place since its findings often form the basis of the court decision.

ABSTRACT This paper presents a novel approach to the structural design of small‐scale turbine blades using the Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) Algorithm to optimise both mass and cost (objective functions), with a comparison to experimental results obtained using a Digital Image Correlation (DIC) system. The optimisation algorithm defined several variables,
