Robustness of Half‐Metallicity and Spin‐Dependent Transport in Defective Co2HfSn and Co2ZrSn Heusler Alloys

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Point defects strongly influence the spin‐dependent electronic and transport properties of Co2HfSn and Co2ZrSn Heusler alloys. First‐principles calculations reveal that Co vacancies preserve half‐metallicity, while anti‐site and swap defects introduce minority‐spin states that reduce spin selectivity.

A Dual‐Branch Flux‐Based Extended Memristor Model With Machine‐Learning‐Assisted Calibration

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Multilayer oxide memristors integrated in crossbar arrays are described through a dual‐branch, flux‐controlled compact model. A three‐stage calibration workflow combining Latin hypercube sampling, Bayesian optimization, and gradient‐based refinement extracts device parameters from experimental data.

High‐Responsivity and Fast‐Response Organic Phototransistor Based on Dinaphtho[2,3‐b:2′,3′‐f]Thieno[3,2‐b]Thiophene

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Low‐temperature Al/Al2O3/DNTT/Au organic phototransistors fabricated on flexible PEN combine high responsivity to blue light (≈250 A W−1 at 39 nW cm−2) with detectable modulated photoresponse up to 150 kHz, making them promising for ultra‐low‐light sensing and moderate‐speed optical links.

The sad story of the new procedures for hiring young researchers in Italian Universities

open access: yesForest@, 2008
In Italy, universities are regulated by law. In December 2007 new rules for hiring young researchers in Italian Universities, based on international peer review, were approved by the Italian Parliament.

Promoting Healthier Drinking: Evidence From a Vignette Experiment on Contextual and Informational Drivers of Dealcoholized Wine Choices

open access: yesApplied Economic Perspectives and Policy, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Growing demand for healthier beverages is driving innovation in the wine sector, with dealcoholized wine emerging as a promising alternative. However, little is known about the contextual conditions under which consumers would choose dealcoholized wine, particularly in countries with strong wine traditions. To fill this gap, this work examines

Inside the Italian Law Firms

open access: yesSortuz, 2017
Several studies have demonstrated that there is a correlation between the number of Italian lawyers and the litigation rate in the field of civil law. Yet, there are no empirical studies about the functioning of law firms and the connection between the latter and courts of justice.
