ChemCatChem, Volume 17, Issue 17, September 5, 2025.Catalysts with varying palladium (Pd) loading supported on activated carbon were assessed for their effectiveness in the oxidative condensation of furfural. Furan‐2‐acrolein was the primary product, depending on the palladium content. Reusability tests showed a decline in the yield of furan‐2‐acrolein.

Angewandte Chemie, Volume 137, Issue 2, January 10, 2025.A [2]rotaxane comprising a dibenzo‐24‐crown‐8 macrocycle and a thread containing three recognition sites (ammonium, bipyridinium and triazolium) is described. The ammonium and bipyridinium stations are responsive to orthogonal stimuli, pH and electrochemical, allowing control over the macrocycle movement along the axle.
