In this paper the authors prove that the discriminant of the discriminant of a multivariate polynomial has the same irreducible factors of the product of seven polynomials. These seven polynomials are obtained as the GCD of the generators of an elimination ideal. This result is similar to the one by \textit{L. Busé} and \textit{B.

Calculating the 3D magnetic field of ITER for European TBM studies
The magnetic perturbation due to the ferromagnetic test blanket modules (TBMs) may deteriorate fast ion confinement in ITER. This effect must be quantified by numerical studies in 3D.

Tritium supply and use: a key issue for the development of nuclear fusion energy [PDF]
Full power operation of the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) has been delayed and will now begin in 2035. Delays to the ITER schedule may affect the availability of tritium for subsequent fusion devices, as the global CANDU-type ...

The petrotympanic canal (Huguier canal): Evolutionary, anatomical, and medical perspectives
Abstract The petrotympanic canal, traditionally referred to as Civinini's or Huguier's canal, represents an anatomical passage connecting the middle ear and temporomandibular joint (TMJ). Despite its early description, its structural complexity and functional significance have often been underestimated. In this study, we combined historical, anatomical,

Iterated and generalized iterated integrals
For a differential field [Formula: see text] having an algebraically closed field of constants, we analyze the structure of Picard–Vessiot extensions of [Formula: see text] whose differential Galois groups are unipotent algebraic groups and apply these results to study stability problems in integration in finite terms and the inverse problem in ...

An Estimation of the Heat Load Distribution on the Divertor Target Using the CSD Model
ABSTRACT Handling the heat load on the divertor target is a critical issue in the design of fusion reactors. Estimating the heat load, supported by computationally efficient simulations with varying design parameters, provides valuable input to high‐level design discussions and the development of design guidelines.

Coupling Fluid Neutrals to Gyrokinetic Plasma Dynamics for Edge and SOL Turbulence Simulations
ABSTRACT Accurate modeling of turbulent transport in magnetic confinement fusion devices requires extending first‐principles gyrokinetic simulations from the core to the edge and scrape‐off layer (SOL), where additional physics—particularly plasma–neutrals interactions—must be included.

Iterative fluid dynamics [PDF]
An iterative scheme is presented to solve analytically the relativistic fluid dynamics equations. The scheme is applied to longitudinal expansion, transversal symmetric and transversal asymmetric (triaxial) expansion as well. Within this scheme it is possible to describe the dynamics of a strongly coupled (i.e.

A Data-Driven Iteratively Regularized Landweber Iteration [PDF]
We derive and analyse a new variant of the iteratively regularized Landweber iteration, for solving linear and nonlinear ill-posed inverse problems. The method takes into account training data, which are used to estimate the interior of a black box, which is used to define the iteration process.
