Orbital fuzzy iterated function systems
In this paper we introduce the concept of orbital fuzzy iterated function system and prove that the fuzzy operator associated to such a system is weakly Picard. An example is provided.

Approximating distribution functions by iterated function systems [PDF]
An iterated function system (IFS) on the space of distribution functions is built with the aim of proposing a new class of distribution function estimators. One IFS estimator and its asymptotic properties are studied in detail. We also propose a density estimator derived from the IFS distribution function estimator by using Fourier analysis. Relative

Digital Video Compression Using DCT-Based Iterated Function System (IFS)
Large video files processing involves a huge volume of data. The codec, storage systems and network needs resource utilization, so it becomes important to minimize the used memory space and time to distribute these videos over the Internet using ...

Markov Characteristics for IFSP and IIFSP [PDF]
As the research object of modern nonlinear science, a fractal theory has been an important research content for scholars since it comes into the world. Moreover, iterated function system (IFS) is a significant research object of fractal theory.

A class of continua that are not attractors of any IFS [PDF]
This paper presents a sufficient condition for a continuum in $R^n$ to be embeddable in $R^n$ in such a way that its image is not an attractor of any iterated function system.

Iterated Function Systems on Multifunctions [PDF]
We introduce a method of iterated function systems (IFS) over the space of set-valued mappings (multifunctions). This is done by first considering a couple of useful metrics over the space of multifunctions F(X,Y). Some appropriate IFS-type fractal transform operators T:F(X,Y)->F(X,Y) are then defined which combine spatially-contracted and range ...

The similarity dimension of the random iterated function system [PDF]
In this paper we consider the properties of the random iterated function systems (RIFS) obtained using a generalization of the Chaos game algorithm. Used for the RIFS simulation R is a free software environment for statistical computing and graphics. The

Persistence landscapes of affine fractals
We develop a method for calculating the persistence landscapes of affine fractals using the parameters of the corresponding transformations. Given an iterated function system of affine transformations that satisfies a certain compatibility condition, we ...

Notes on the Transversality Method for Iterated Function Systems—A Survey
This is a brief survey of selected results obtained using the “transversality method” developed for studying parametrized families of fractal sets and measures. We mostly focus on the early development of the theory, restricting ourselves to self-similar

THE CONLEY ATTRACTORS OF AN ITERATED FUNCTION SYSTEM [PDF]
AbstractWe investigate the topological and metric properties of attractors of an iterated function system (IFS) whose functions may not be contractive. We focus, in particular, on invertible IFSs of finitely many maps on a compact metric space. We rely on ideas of Kieninger [Iterated Function Systems on Compact Hausdorff Spaces (Shaker, Aachen, 2002 ...
