Stability of iterated function systems on the circle [PDF]
We prove that any Iterated Function System of circle homeomorphisms with at least one of them having dense orbit, is asymptotically stable. The corresponding Perron–Frobenius operator is shown to satisfy the e‐property, that is, for any continuous ...

The Caenorhabditis elegans DPF‐3 and human DPP4 have tripeptidyl peptidase activity
The dipeptidyl peptidase IV (DPPIV) family comprises serine proteases classically defined by their ability to remove dipeptides from the N‐termini of substrates, a feature that gave the family its name. Here, we report the discovery of a previously unrecognized tripeptidyl peptidase activity in DPPIV family members from two different species.

In this manuscript, we present the classical Hutchinson–Barnsley theory on the product neutrosophic fractal spaces by utilizing an iterated function system, which is enclosed by neutrosophic Edelstein contractions and a finite number of neutrosophic b ...

Robust minimality of iterated function systems with two generators
We prove that any compact manifold without boundary admits a pair of diffeomorphisms that generates $C^1$ robustly minimal dynamics. We apply the results to the construction of blenders and robustly transitive skew product diffeomorphisms.Comment: 16 ...

Peptide‐based ligand antagonists block a Vibrio cholerae adhesin
The structure of a peptide‐binding domain of the Vibrio cholerae adhesin FrhA was solved by X‐ray crystallography, revealing how the inhibitory peptide AGYTD binds tightly at its Ca2+‐coordinated pocket. Structure‐guided design incorporating D‐amino acids enhanced binding affinity, providing a foundation for developing anti‐adhesion therapeutics ...

Generating irregular fractals based on iterated function systems
The iterated function system (IFS) is important in different fields like image compression. An important feature of such systems is that they can be used to generate fractals.

A dynamical point of view of Quantum Information: Wigner measures
We analyze a known version of the discrete Wigner function and some connections with Quantum Iterated Funcion Systems. This paper is a follow up of "A dynamical point of view of Quantum Information: entropy and pressure" by the same ...

Time after time – circadian clocks through the lens of oscillator theory
Oscillator theory bridges physics and circadian biology. Damped oscillators require external drivers, while limit cycles emerge from delayed feedback and nonlinearities. Coupling enables tissue‐level coherence, and entrainment aligns internal clocks with environmental cues.

Synthesizing fractal images by means of shift dynamical systems
In this paper, the adaptation problem of the time escape algorithm to the special class of fractal images (attractors of iterated function systems) and the necessary mathematical context are analysed.

Dimensions of Fractals Generated by Bi-Lipschitz Maps
On the class of iterated function systems of bi-Lipschitz mappings that are contractions with respect to some metrics, we introduce a logarithmic distortion property, which is weaker than the well-known bounded distortion property.
