A faster iterative scheme for solving nonlinear fractional differential equations of the Caputo type
In this paper, we introduce a new fixed point iterative scheme called the AG iterative scheme that is used to approximate the fixed point of a contraction mapping in a uniformly convex Banach space.

On the dual equivalence of the Born-Infeld-Chern-Simons model coupled to dynamical U(1) charged matter [PDF]
We study the equivalence between a nonlinear self-dual model (NSD) with the Born-Infeld-Chern-Simons (BICS) models using an iterative gauge embedding procedure that produces the duality mapping, including the case where the NSD model is minimally coupled

Circuits of Iterated Foata Maps [PDF]
In this paper we will consider Foata map as a function which associates another permutation, known as F(δ), to each permutation δ = δ 1 δ 2 ⋅ ⋅ ⋅ δ m of the integers {1, 2, . . . ,m}, in such a way that the number of cycles of δ is equal to the number of left to right minima of F(δ).

The construction of one unstable manifold for the dissipative Henon mapping [PDF]
The unstable manifold of a saddle point of the Henon mapping is constructed analytically via a contraction mapping, for a range of parameter values where the second fixed point is a stable node.

Continuous iteration of dynamical maps [PDF]
A precise meaning is given to the notion of continuous iteration of a mapping. Usual discrete iterations are extended into a dynamical flow which is a homotopy of them all. The continuous iterate reveals that a dynamic map is formed by independent component modes evolving without interference with each other.

Characterization of the complete mitochondrial genome of the Tianjun yak (Bos grunniens)
Tianjun yak (Bos grunniens) is a yak breed with strong adaptation to the high-elevation, cold and anoxic environments. Its complete mitochondrial genome is 16,323 bp long with an asymmetric base composition, and harbors the 37 typical mitochondrial genes

On the importance of a broad stakeholder network for developing a credible, salient and legitimate tiered approach for assessing ecosystem services [PDF]
As the concept of ecosystem services is being operationalised and implemented in policies, a better guidance on the selection of suitable methods for ecosystem services mapping and assessment is needed to allow more sound, transparent and comparable ...

Wave-like Decoding of Tail-biting Spatially Coupled LDPC Codes Through Iterative Demapping
For finite coupling lengths, terminated spatially coupled low-density parity-check (SC-LDPC) codes show a non-negligible rate-loss. In this paper, we investigate if this rate loss can be mitigated by tail-biting SC-LDPC codes in conjunction with ...
