CeiTEA: Adaptive Hierarchy of Single Cells with Topological Entropy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
CeiTEA, a novel hierarchical clustering algorithm based on topological entropy, effectively captures complex structures underlying data. By constructing an adaptive multi‐nary partition tree, CeiTEA reveals hierarchical structures and local diversifications, outperforming existing methods in clustering accuracy and consistency and providing the ...

Multi‐Dimensional Multiplexed Metasurface for Multifunctional Near‐Field Modulation by Physics‐Driven Intelligent Design

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The expansive design space of advanced metasurfaces, particularly those with multiple degrees of freedom (MDOF), renders traditional design methods less effective. A physics‐driven intelligent design is proposed for MDOF metasurfaces, which integrates physical knowledge into neural networks, enhancing interpretability and computational efficiency. This

36‐Channel Spin and Wavelength Co‐Multiplexed Metasurface Holography by Phase‐Gradient Inverse Design

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A single‐cell metasurface is designed to multiplex holographic images across both spin and wavelength channels using a single‐phase map. By employing inverse design and automatic differentiation, the metasurface achieves 36 channel multiplexing across the visible to near‐infrared spectrum.

Transfer Learning Empowered Multiple‐Indicator Optimization Design for Terahertz Quasi‐Bound State in the Continuum Biosensors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study proposes a pioneering method leveraging transfer learning to optimize multiple indicators in meta‐biosensor design, achieving the multiple‐indicator comprehensive optimization. By adopting frequency shift as a unified criterion, this study quantifies the contribution ratio of each performance indicator to the biosensor, which facilitates ...
