Modern Postvolcanic Activity of Berutarube Volcano, Iturup Isl., the Kuril Islands
Abstract The data of 2017, characterizing the modern gas-hydrothermal activity of the Berutarube volcano (Iturup Island, the Southern Kuriles) are presented. It is shown that currently the volcano has intensive solfataric and hydrothermal activity, concentrated within the three main sites near summit part of the edifice.
