Deformations of Anosov subgroups: Limit cones and growth indicators

open access: yesJournal of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 112, Issue 3, September 2025.
Abstract Let G$G$ be a connected semisimple real algebraic group. We prove that limit cones vary continuously under deformations of Anosov subgroups of G$G$ under a certain convexity assumption, which turns out to be necessary. We apply this result to the notion of sharpness for the action of a discrete subgroup on a non‐Riemannian homogeneous space ...

Parity of ranks of Jacobians of curves

open access: yesProceedings of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 131, Issue 3, September 2025.
Abstract We investigate Selmer groups of Jacobians of curves that admit an action of a non‐trivial group of automorphisms, and give applications to the study of the parity of Selmer ranks. Under the Shafarevich–Tate conjecture, we give an expression for the parity of the Mordell–Weil rank of an arbitrary Jacobian in terms of purely local invariants ...

Changes Over a 10‐Year Period in the Distribution Ranges and Genetic Hybridization of Three Pelophylax Pond Frogs in Central Japan

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 15, Issue 8, August 2025.
We used genetic analysis to evaluate interspecific hybridization in the genus Pelophylax reported as contact/overlapped areas in the central Japanese Archipelago and compared the results with those from a survey conducted in 2010. The results showed slightly different hybridization progression patterns in the two hybridization zones in the study area ...

Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors and Cardiovascular Adverse Events

open access: yesESC Heart Failure, Volume 12, Issue 4, Page 2404-2416, August 2025.
Abstract In the last years, we assisted to a tremendous increase in therapeutic options for the management of cancers, with immunotherapy at the forefront of this innovation. Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have been developed to enhance the activity of the immune system against cancer cells (1) and the number of approvals for ICIs has rapidly ...

Mate preferences and marriage‐related behaviors: The case of Japan

open access: yesJournal of Marriage and Family, Volume 87, Issue 4, Page 1361-1386, August 2025.
Abstract Objective This study examines contributors to mate preferences and their changes, as well as behaviors corresponding to mate preferences in Japan, where mate preferences likely play a role in its steady marriage decline. Background Mate preferences are believed to guide mate selection processes.

Iwasawa Dieudonné theory of function fields

open access: yes, 2022
Let $k$ be a perfect field of characteristic $p$ and $Γ$ an infinite, first countable pro-$p$ group. We study the behavior of the $p$-primary part of the "motivic class group", i.e. the full $p$-divisible group of the Jacobian, in any $Γ$-tower of function fields over $k$ that is unramified outside a finite (possibly empty) set of places $Σ$, and ...

Iwasawa Theory

open access: yes, 2018

Seminar Notes on Open Questions in Iwasawa Theory - SNOQIT I: The $Λ[ G ]$-modules of Iwasawa theory II: Units and Kummer theory in Iwasawa extensions

open access: yes, 2010
In Part I we review some specific properties of the $Λ$-modules in Iwasawa theory, which add structure to the general properties of Noetherian $Λ$-torsion modules. Part II deals with Kummer theory and gives a detailed construction of the Iwasawa linear space. This provides a new, simpler proof of the conjectures of Leopoldt and Gross for CM extensions.
